August 28, 2010 The Prince of Peace family extends our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters
at Long Island Community Fellowship on the passing of their Pastor, Rev. Dr. G. Shane Hibbs.
Pastor Hibbs worked tirelessly to provide a welcoming church home for Long Island's protestant LGBT members.
May our loving saviour pour out His blessings and Peace on Pastor Hibbs' partner Mark and all the members of LICF.
Prince of Peace will say mass in honour and remembrance of Pastor Hibbs on Sunday September 5, 2010 at 7PM.
November 5, 2008 On December 2, 2008, Deacon Don Pratt will be leaving Prince of Peace and Long Island to serve in
a parish in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Prince of Peace will honour Don's service to our parish during our Sunday Evening Mass
on November 30, 2008. We invite everyone to join us and celebrate with Don as we wish him well in his new ministry.
September 15, 2008 Prince of Peace is pleased to announce that we will be the host church for Long Island's Third Annual National Coming Out Day Interfaith Service.
This event, sponsored by Pride Alliance of Long Island will be held at 7:30 PM on Saturday Evening, October 11, 2008
at Prince of Peace (St. Bede's Episcopal Church), 220 Berry Hill Road, Syosset.
Representatives of several different welcoming faith communities on Long Island have been invited to participate. We look forward to seeing you there.

September 1, 2008 Prince of Peace is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Virginia "Ginger" Walsh
as our Minister of Music.
Ginger, who has led music ministries for two other congregations, brings Prince of Peace an incredible spirit and zeal for liturgical music.
Her participation dramatically enhances our worship experience.
Thank you Ginger!
